Children's Ministry

Our Children’s Ministry is designed to provide opportunities for children to learn about God, Jesus, and the Bible at an age appropriate level. Our curriculum is designed to develop lifelong disciples where each child can learn to integrate their faith. We exist to support each family in their journey of encouraging and strengthening each child’s understanding of Jesus Christ and His love for them by providing additional opportunities for families to serve together as we walk along the journey of faith in a fun and creative environment. From our nursery area to the preschool classroom and the elementary room, we strive to provide a safe, secure, friendly, and excellent learning environment for ALL children.

Deacons & Deaconess

Deacons

We are servants of God and our duty is to nurture and care for the members of St. John Missionary Baptist Church. This is done by putting the spiritual and physical needs of our congregation before our own and to promote unity within the church.  By doing so, the gospel is proclaimed and the word of God is fulfilled.

Deaconess

We oversee communion and baptism responsibilities that include the preparation of attire, gowns, lines and gloves.  We also provide spiritual and emotional support to the women of our church.
